Dear Mel,
My Mother and I wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the new windows your company installed on her house.  For the first time in several years, she is able to open the window unaided.  As you may remember, she suffered a stroke some years ago and has only the full use of her left hand and arm.  Consequently, she was unable to open the old windows on her house.  However, the new windows operate so smoothly she has not trouble getting any of the windows open.  In addition, the new windows have made a tremendous improvement on the appearance of her home along with the siding.  Your crew did a very good job with the installation of the windows and siding. 

I’m sure the new windows will also make considerable difference on the heating bill this winter but too soon to tell.

Just a note to say thanks for a job well done.  As human beings, we all take time to complain if we are not satisfied but seldom take the time to say thanks if we are pleased.  Well, I am going to do jus that for the two young men that worked on our house were the two nicest young men we have met in a long time.  We would have never known they were around except for the hammering.  When they completed the job our yard was as clean as a pin and they left no mess of any kind.  We just wanted you to know they were everything you said they would be and more.  We are really pleased with the way our house looks now and just want to say again thanks for being so truthful.
